On Friday, November 15th, the 3rd

Inventor", in which they learned about Ben Franklin's life and his
contributions to American history. This educational and interactive program was
made possible by your generous contributions to the MPTO Fundraisers

Preschool Garden
The 3 year old preschoolers in Mrs. Norris’ class adopted a
garden plot next to the Pre-K playground. Colin’s Dad in our T,Th AM
class volunteered and used his green thumb skills to teach and assist
with planting Spring bulbs, using various tools and allowing each preschooler
to dig, plant and cover each bulb with soil. After the long winter
ahead, we look forward to the rainbow of colors that awaits when these flowers
bloom!

5th grade Gummy Bear Lab
We
are studying the scientific method in fifth grade. Here are some pictures
from Mrs. Butler and Mrs. Young's classroom gummy bear lab. We soaked gummy bears in water, vinegar, salt water, and water
and baking soda. They are observing what happened after 1 day of soaking.
