Sixth graders competed in the geography bee today.

ESP - Maker Session

Creative ideas and quite a bit of tinkering combined successfully as students in the fourth grade ESP class built cardboard arcades during several "Maker" sessions. 

Third graders took an online mathematics assessment on laptops. This gives teachers immediate results to inform instruction.

Preschoolers show their school spirit. Today is mismatch day.

Sixth graders asked questions to determine where the mystery class is that they are talking with via Google Hang Out. The answer was Toronto, Canada!

2015 Veterans Day Celebration

On Tuesday, November 10th, the students of Howe-Manning commemorated the Veterans' Day Holiday.  Director of Veterans' services, Ted Butler spoke with the children on the importance of honoring our Veterans.  Representatives from Operation Troop Support, Barbara and Stephen Levine, were on hand to accept the generous donations, of candy and toiletries, on behalf of troops currently serving overseas.

Our bags are packed and children are off in their final field group. We will then have lunch and begin boarding the bus. We will send a ConnectEd message to let you know when we are on our way.

It has been a great day. Weather cleared early and it got sunny andwarm. Everyone had fun during free time and in field groups
