Fourth graders are conferencing with their teachers as they write Massachusetts biographies.

Sixth graders discuss technology and whether it is important to be connected 24/7. Some students cited the need to be available should anyone need them. Others talked about waking up to many texts simply stating “hey, what’s up” which interrupted their sleep.

Fifth grade students are working on landscape silhouettes. They are beginning by choosing blue or purple as their moon. They are learning to paint different tints of a base color.
In computers and library this week we have been focusing on Internet Safety with Grades 4 through 6. In Library, Mrs. Reusch read the book, Bully, by Patricia Polacco. In computers, Mrs. Pazdziorny has been using the Netsmartz program. With Grade 4 we have been using Netsmartz Kids, while Grades 5 and 6 have been using Netsmartz Tween.
Fifth graders are reading Time For Kids and answering comprehension questions.
