Kudos and a giant thank you to the fantastic 6th graders who participated in the Kid2Kid Anti Bullying Program this past week. The audience was interactive and the performers dramatized how a small act of kindness could make a difference in someone's day when children are thoughtless and mean. Our very talented students wrote original grade appropriate K-6 scenarios. The message "It's Cool to be Kind" was illustrated through 9 skits at Howe Manning and 7 at Fuller Meadow, in 3 separate shows. Students ended with a Barry Manilow song "One Voice" and after taking an oath, promising not to bully, they all received bracelets.

Thank you to Mrs. Linda Tirrusa, Mrs. Teresa Buono, Mrs. Mindy Wogan, and Mrs. Ann Montani who volunteered many hours to work with me on this program. Working with all of you was a labor of love and left us very proud of our 6th graders.
